Black and white photographs of the Old Massachusetts House located in Northport.
The Old Massachusetts House (also known as the Old Massachusetts Homestead or the Hart House), was built around 1718. It was located on Route 1 in Northport, Maine. In 1939 the house underwent a renovation. Later the property became the Old Massachusetts Homestead Campground, and then MBNA purchased the site. The property is now part of the Point Lookout Resort and Conference Center.
The Massachusetts House gift shop, and later gallery (also known as the Maine Massachusetts House), is located diagonally across Route 1 in Northport from the homestead's site. When it was built it was modeled after the original house. This building is still standing and is currently the home of Blake Veterinary Services.
