Original photograph of Knowlton Brothers Foundry, July 19, 1883. The foundry was located on the corner of Knowlton and Mechanic Streets in Camden, Maine. It was founded by David Knowlton in 1853, and by 1880 his four sons had taken over the business. The foundry manufactured items such as ships' iron windlasses, performed machine shop work, and made railway cars for quarries.

Center for Creative Imaging on Mechanic Street in Camden as it appeared in the early 1990's. Formerly the site of Knowlton Brothers Foundry, Eastman Kodak Company opened the center in 1991 to showcase photographic technology. The center was sold to Brace Management Group in 1993 before closing in 1994. Later the building was purchased by MBNA.
